Halfway through my morning I noticed no emails received, I decided to press SEND/RECEIVE but that option had disappeared and a message was saying "Update in progress could take up to 15 minutes". After 1 hour the message was still there, so using my extensive IT knowledge I switched PC off and on again but same message appeared, waited another hour and decided I needed the expert, Mark. Sometimes Mark's laidback attitude can be worrying especially when your insides are moving like you've just eaten an out of date Prawn Biryani. Mark, however, soon put my mind at rest, give me an hour he said, I'll get a new licence and sort it all out. I wept internally at the mention of new as I imagined all my old emails disappearing into the Outlook ether. An hour later Mark had installed the new Outlook complete with all my old emails and some new ones. I was more relieved than the time when I was 16 years old and my then girlfriend told me the test was negative. I would thoroughly recommend Mark for his extensive knowledge of PCs, his calm demeanour and reasonable cost.

As a media company we rely on reliable IT. Imagine my distress when in the middle of an urgent job my PC hung and then on rebooting got stuck on the Bios screen. I tried all the usual stuff but no success. After 30 minutes of an ever deeper feeling of sick developing in my stomach, I was relieved to have the CTS number to hand.
